. . . Inspired by the sinuous curvature of outstretched wings, the Icarus coffee table evokes the sweeping rhythms of avian flight. Each segment seamlessly fuses the tabletop and table leg into one  dynamic whole. The icarus table changes the compartmentalized concept of "leg-side-tabletop" into a continuous articulated form. The use of hard maple lends a warm glow to the  table’s kinetic energy, bridging the divide between traditional craftsmanship and contemporary geometry.
